Just not a whole lot going on.

The reason why I’ve not written is because there’s just not been a whole lot going on and also I’ve been busy at the office. Reports have been coming in fast and furious and the end of the quarter reports are due tomorrow.

The wisdom teeth surgery went very well. I pretty much took the day and the day after surgery off. Friday was the first time I was back at work. I told the people at the office that I was not hurting, but sore. That’s what you would expect after the removal of four teeth. I told Anna that I pretty much overcame the hump on Saturday night. We had fish for dinner that night. On Sunday, we went to the Civic Center for a Taiko Drums performance. I loved it, but Anna did not think too highly of it. I guess I’m way more into drums than her, which is OK.

Nothing too exciting took place last week except for the fact that the men got fitted for our suits. It was fun and they were all ribbing me non stop while getting measured. Trust those guys to make it fun and light. After the fitting, we went to Paradise for dinner since it’s literally right across the street.

On Saturday, Anna and I went to a jazz vocalist concert and she was really good. It helped that I went with very low expectations, but she was mighty impressive. We both thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Then on Sunday, we went to the DM Symphony and they played music from the Romeo & Juliet which was awesome. The symphony did a fantastic job. They even had some actors from the Guthrie theater act out some scenes from they play in full Shakespearean language. What a great was to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. Carola had ticket to the concert, so her niece ended up using it. John and I were so happy to see her. Michele had no idea who she would be sitting with and said that Carola would have wanted her to be at the performance. She was happy to see us. After dinner that night we watched the movie, Date Night which was really funny. It’s been quite some time since Anna and I went out on a date so that was a nice way to end Sunday.

That’s pretty much it for the past two weeks. See, I told you, not a whole lot going on.
