So, here I am on a Monday resting in my apartment. I took the day off from work because I'm sick. I had dinner at Ann's on Saturday night and my tummy was not feeling the greatest. I was supposed to head over to Brian's for a party, but ended up not going. When I got up on Sunday, I had a terrible sore throat and called in at the facility. I came home and napped for four hours which is something I do not do unless I'm sick. I barely ate anything for dinner and went to bed after pumping myself with as much medication as possible.
I did not go in to work this morning so I could rest up. It's funny how a number of people said I'm not feeling well because I'm missing Anna. She made it to Arizona A OK. I spoke to her on the phone yesterday and she's having a good time there. Good for her.
Not too much really took place last week. A couple of us from the office went to Iowa State University for a presentation which was good because we managed to get the students thinking about the area of gerontology.
That really was the week. Nothing too hip and happening on my end, really. It's spring break this week so things are pretty quiet, but that's to be expected. Before we know it, it'll be Holy Week once again. It's the one time in the church's calendar when I get pumped up.
